WALKING HAND-IN-HAND AND HEART-TO-HEART WITH YOUR FAMILY.
The Special Needs Ministry for children is designed to provide parents/guardians an opportunity to attend worship services and Bible studies while their child is being well cared for.
Currently, the child(ren) are integrated into his/her age-appropriate classes during worship services and pair him/her with an aide or "buddy". At this time we do not have a separate class for special needs participants.
We do not provide therapy, behavioral modification programs, or medical intervention (only in emergency situations). Our ministry will follow through with behavioral programs set in place as able, based on parental guidance and tools provided.
How to enroll
- Contact GSBC with your name and phone number to be forwarded to our volunteer who coordinates the program.
- Complete the Questionnaire for Families of Children with Special Needs.
- Coordinator will contact you for an initial meeting so you can express your child's need and discuss placement of your child. This meeting needs to be conducted before your first planned Sunday so arrangements can be made.
